I don’t know about you, but every now and then thoughts pop into my head of events that happened at all different ages. i see myself on stage dancing at 3, at camp when I was 8, my husband and I on a romantic trip, something that happened while I was giving a speech–the list goes on and on.
I don’t know why, but there are times we have all collected in the past that seem to stick with us and others that just slip by. Those moments make up who we are and how we perceive things. As we age, they become more and more precious and either make us smile or remind us not to do it again.
I want to encourage all of you to start paying attention to the things that do make you smile and write them down in a journal so they can be appreciated and looked at. We all need more and more of them to counteract the negative thoughts that come at us daily.
