Get Uncomfortable

What would you have to tackle to feel uncomfortable? For me, it’s anything to do with technology. What is it for you? Could it be learning a new language, or studying a new subject, or going for a new job or even meeting a new group of people.

As you get older, you become more set in your ways and even start to lay back a little. I get that however that’s not always the best path to take. It doesn’t take much to shrivel up and become a non-entity. And I know that’s not what you want for your life.

Push yourself and get yourself out there–trying new things, meeting new people and creating new thoughts. There is nothing as stimulating as a new adventure. Could it be taking an art class if you believe you can’t draw? Or what about a public speaking class? After all, isn’t public speaking fear #1.

The next time you answer no to something think about your reason why. You may be amazed that you didn’t even give it a possible yes. Why not? Is it pushing your buttons? Get uncomfortable and you may secretly find out it turns into a secret passion.
