The Mind is a Powerful Thing

I have had the most wonderful week so far. I was at the IDEA fitness convention where I interviewed 10 of the most fabulous fitness people. This year there are two themes which are constant–the mind-body connection and functional training.

Your body is talking to you but are you listening?

  Every day I march myself to the gym to get my body moving.  At 77 that’s an important thing for me to do.  My workouts consist of aerobics, strength training, sculpting, stretching, the bike and something new called “piloxing.”
